Meet Karen
Postpartum Doula. Healing Advocate. Gentle Truth-Teller. Grateful Mama.
You’re here because something feels off.
You’re bone-tired—even after sleeping. You’re snapping, second-guessing, crying over spilled coffee, and wondering if this fog is just how life is now. You’ve probably asked yourself:
“Why am I so tired I can barely keep my eyes open?”
“Why am I overwhelmed by the simplest things?”
“Is it normal that I feel anxious all the time?”
You’re not imagining it. And you’re not broken.
You’re just depleted.
I know this deeply—because I’ve lived it.
I spent most of my life navigating depression and anxiety. Not just mood swings, but long, heavy seasons where even getting out of bed felt like too much. I tried antidepressants. And I believe they can help. But I also wanted to understand what my body was asking for—and how to really heal.
It took nearly a decade of trying, failing, and learning. But eventually, things started to click. I cut out gluten. I reduced dairy. I ate more protein, more greens, more real food. I felt clearer, lighter, like myself again.
Then I started using supplements—magnesium, B vitamins, vitamin D, adaptogens. I didn’t fully understand how much they were helping until I skipped a few days. Suddenly the fog returned. The mornings got heavy again. That’s when it hit me:
My body wasn’t broken. It was just depleted.
When I got pregnant, I was scared—especially knowing that 1 in 5 moms experience postpartum depression. With my history, I didn’t want to just survive postpartum. I wanted to feel strong, steady, and actually enjoy my baby.
So I prepared. I nourished myself with intention. I supported my nervous system and replenished what pregnancy had taken. Postpartum still came with tears, adjustment, and tender days. But I felt good. I felt grounded. I had energy and clarity. And when challenges came, I had a foundation to stand on.
That’s what I want for you.
Because the truth is—your brain can’t fully heal if your gut is inflamed. Your mood can’t lift if your body’s running on empty. Your heart can’t feel calm if your nervous system is frayed. This isn’t about doing more. It’s about giving your body the right kind of fuel, care, and support to actually feel better.
This is the heart behind The Healing Mama Collective.
If you’re here feeling foggy, flat, anxious, or unsure if this version of you is just how it’s going to be now—I want you to know: it doesn’t have to be. You can feel clear, calm, steady, and deeply supported.
Alongside my husband, a chiropractor with advanced training in nutrition and years of experience supporting postpartum women and babies—we help you restore what’s been given away.
With nutrition that actually nourishes.
With supplements that make a difference.
With emotional support that feels like a deep exhale.
Because feeling good isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. And you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Let’s begin healing – together.

Meet Dr. David
Chiropractor. Nutrition Nerd. Calm Anchor. Proud Partner.
You won’t find Dr. David posting on Instagram or sharing reels about mom life—but behind the scenes of The Healing Mama Collective, he’s a steady force helping make it all work.
With over 10 years of experience as a Chiropractor, a Bachelor’s in Nutrition, and specialized training in pediatric and perinatal care (ICPA, Webster certified), Dr. David has spent his career helping families feel better in their bodies. But his deeper purpose? That started much earlier.
After facing Lyme disease as a child, he became obsessed with learning what feeling good actually meant. That passion became a calling—to help people understand their bodies, heal naturally, and thrive.
Today, that mission is personal.
Watching his wife walk through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—twice—has changed the way he supports moms. He’s seen up close how much women give of their bodies, minds, and energy to grow and care for a baby. And he knows that recovery isn’t just about rest—it’s about replenishing what’s been given away.
Dr. David brings quiet confidence, deep knowledge, and a huge heart to every nutrition plan he creates. He doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all supplement protocols. Instead, he listens deeply, looks at the whole picture, and creates thoughtful, doable plans tailored to each mom’s season.
When he’s not helping moms rebuild their energy and mood from the inside out, you’ll find him chasing his toddler, snuggling the baby, or cooking a nutrient-dense dinner for his favorite person (his words, not hers 😉).
His goal is simple:
To help you feel like you again—healthy, steady, and strong enough to enjoy the life you’re building.
